What Happens Before Your Infusion

Before your first treatment is confirmed, the team reviews what is required for that specific therapy. That can include a current treatment order, relevant medical records, recent laboratory results, medication dose and schedule, insurance authorization, allergy information, or other treatment-specific documentation.

If something is missing, the aim is to identify it before you arrive rather than discovering it at the time of treatment.

What to Expect on Treatment Day

EnCare MD has six dedicated infusion bays for outpatient treatment. When you arrive, the team will confirm your treatment information and complete the appropriate pre-infusion checks. Your infusion will then be administered according to the treatment plan, with monitoring based on the medication you are receiving.

If you develop a fever, signs of infection, new symptoms, or another significant change in your health before the appointment, contact EnCare MD. Some changes can affect whether treatment should proceed as scheduled, and the team can help determine the appropriate next step.

Working With Your Treating Clinician

For many specialty infusions, the clinician managing your underlying condition remains an important part of your care. That clinician typically determines the medication and overall treatment plan. EnCare MD provides the infusion, completes the appropriate monitoring, and coordinates with the treating clinician when information needs to be shared or questions arise.

This keeps the treatment plan connected while giving patients an outpatient setting for receiving the therapy.
